On September 11, 2021, Three Lions Promotions (TLP) is proud to present the respective returns of two of its top fighters – Brandon Brewer @ljack_boxing (25-1-1, 11KOs) of Fredericton, New Brunswick, and Jessie Wilcox @jessiewilcoxboxing (15-0-2, 9KOs) of Hamilton, Ontario –  in a clash for the WBC USNBC middleweight crown and promotional bragging rights.

“Two of our lions going head to head, kudos to both fighters for taking this fight and may the best man win” stated Daniel Otter, Managing Director of Three Lions Promotions.

Brewer needs little introduction to Canadian boxing fans. Back in 2019, he thrilled the DAZN viewership, battling NABA champion Mark DeLuca for ten hard rounds, albeit in a losing effort. Since that defeat, Brewer has won two in a row, recapturing his national title form.

Brewer won the CPBC national super welterweight title in 2014 with a wide unanimous decision win over Paul Bzdel (6-9-1) of Saskatchewan. The following year, “L-Jack” won the NABA version of the title with a unanimous decision victory of Junmar Emon (6-4-0, 2KOs) of Toronto in the latter’s backyard.

While Brewer has been to the big show, fighting on DAZN in front of a global audience, Wilcox is hoping to use his more experienced TLP stablemate as a stepping-stone to similar opportunities.  He has been looking ever sharper as a professional boxer, using his amateur pedigree to outbox his last several opponents. His most recent outing saw his biggest win to date, with the Hamiltonian pounding out a unanimous decision over the durable Luis Enrique Montelongo (12-8-0, 3KOs) of Mexico in front of a packed Centre 200
