Two local pros are headlining a boxing card at the Hamilton Convention Centre Saturday night.
Jessie Wilcox and Kevin Higson of Steeltown Boxing Club will fight in the main and co-main events, respectively.
Although the 27-year-old Wilcox, undefeated (11-0-2) as a pro, impressively won the Canadian Professional Boxing Council international welterweight championship over Juan Armando Garcia last June at the Ancaster Fairgrounds, there is no title at stake in his Saturday night fight against Kristof Kovacs (8-1) of Hungary.
