Three Lions announce new signees

Three Lions Promotions have added two amateur standouts, Dylan Taylor (1-0-0, 1KO) of Windsor Ontario, Meilyn “Cachis” Martinez (1-0-0, 1KO) of Vera Cruz, Mexico along with undefeated prospect Antonio Scaringi (2-0-1,) of Niagara Falls, Ontario. Taylor and Martinez both recently won their pro debuts on March 31st by way of TKO in the first and third round, respectively. Martinez was pitted against Argentinian veteran, Soledad Macedo (17-19-2, 4KOs) and Dylan Taylor against Argentina’s Fernando Bravo (4-2-1, 1KO). The pair have an impressive amateur pedigree, with The 22 year old Martinez having 40 wins, and only two defeats, while her teammate Taylor, who is 26, had over 100 amateur fights with both being national champions of their respective countries. Martinez was scheduled to have her pro debut on the Canelo/Plant undercard back in 2021 but due to logistical issues her bout was cancelled, eventually leading her to Canada, where she now trains and lives in Toronto, Ontario.

Their new promotion is delighted about the future of their new signees. “Scaringi is going to make some waves in the super welterweight division and now with a team behind him he will become a contender in the near future and what an amazing start to both the pro debutants. Dylan made short work of his opponent (Bravo) who had never been stopped before and her (Martinez) opponent (Macedo) had almost 40 fights and had not been stopped like that and had gone the distance with some of the best women in her division.” said Otter.

The new signees added to the Three Lions stable of fighters are scheduled to be back in the ring before summer, with opponents TBA.
